Go to StimulusWatch.org to see the "shovel-ready" projects for McKinney included in the 2008 U.S. Conference of Mayors report. You can click on a project to read (and add to) its description. You can also discuss the project and vote on whether you believe it is critical or not. These projects are not part of the stimulus bill. They are candidates for funding by federal grant programs.

The total cost of all the projects submitted by McKinney is $33,018,000

Glad the police department are getting some funding.. Not sure about the Green Cordinator... Do we have enough Green Buildings to need this? Or would this person be in charge of retrofitting existing buildings to be more energy effiecient?

Well, none of these projects are getting funding yet. They are candidates to receive funding. I haven't seen what process determines which ones will be funded, but I will be looking for that information and will post it here if I find it.
