Chinese Gymnasts Are 16????

OK, I'm into these Olympics and all. But there is noooooo way some of these Chinese gymnasts are the minimum 16 years old. Noooo way. IOC suppozedly only checks their p***ports, not birth certificates. Too bad. Because the really young ones (our U.S. coach says several are 14) are really, really good and beating us. ... :mad:...:mad:

A couple of the girls truly look 12 or 14...one has to wonder. Would the Chinese stoop to that to win at all costs?

I was surprised to learn that there was a minimum age requirement. Seems to me that the point of the Olympics is to watch the world's best compete. If the world's best are only 12 or 13 years old, I'm good with it.

But, rules are rules, even if they are silly ones.

yeah Its not a surprise that they are so young. They look young thats for sure. Funny though getting beaten by some little kids xD
