I wasn't in attendance for Friday's game but I was there last season when a field goal won the game for North. So I knew it would be another down-to-the wire contest when these two teams faced off again. I picked the Bulldogs to win in a close one and I'm sure this game could have gone either way. For North, I guess the game plan is as it was last week - put this non-district loss behind and get ready for next week.
Forney put a 47-0 beating on Seagoville Friday night but I'm not sure how impressive a statement that is considering the Dragons have been outscored 98-0 in their first two games. Either way Forney should provide the Bulldogs with another tough test at home this Friday night.
