Default The terrible twos. Raising children

One must consider the challenges of raising a child in these times. First we take this child and spend the first two years teaching them to walk, talk and communicate in order to raise and mold a young adult in our future.

Then we hit the terrible two`s where they just become a terrible little critter to everything we say and everything we do for them.

Then come the trying three`s where they will try your patience on everything we want to do or teach them

After the trying three`s come the fearsome fours where the will stand up and become a fearsome little critter to everything you say and everything you try to get them to do.

Now comes the frantic fives as you now start showing your own frantic behavior over what will this child do next.

This follows the scary six`s as what you start to see next can and will scare many a parent or young adult.

Next come the sadistic sevens. This is where you need to import the services of a priest or clergy to exercise this child or you for having this child.

The hateful eights then comes around. I HATE YOU. Enough said on this.

We will now approach the nasty nines where they start showing some more adult type personality traits that normally does not show up for many may year.

Ten comes next. The terminating tens. This is judgement day where something must be terminated. The child, their behavior or you. At this point you do not care. You just want something to end one way or the other.

Eleven and twelve now come up in what we call the adolescent years. This is where the child will set down and think of all the lessons you have tough then and lessons they have learned early in life. Also know as the calm before the storm .

The teenage years come next and that is thirteen to twenty years old. This is the time of their life where they will dedicate these year to prove that they are right and you was wrong.

Now should you fail in these years one will find out that you shall then become their personal ATM machine for life.

Funny to read this. Thanks for the smile. I thought that I never wanted children. Both of us thought this way. Now we have 3 and we are sorry we didn't have more! What a ride!

I have a two-year old and an eleven-year old. I think the eleven-year old is more terrible than the two-year old but overall they are both great. I think as parents, the best we can do is make sure we pay enough attention to them and make sure they grow up healthy and happy.
